Logging in to Amrod
Where to sign in, what the common failures actually mean, and why the same login is what puts the catalogue on your own site.
Most people arrive at this page for one of two reasons. Either the login has stopped working, or someone has said the login is what feeds a catalogue onto a website and that did not sound right. Both are below.
Where to sign in
Amrod's reseller site is amrod.co.za, and the login is on it. Amrod has rebuilt the site more than once, so old bookmarks and old links in old emails often point at addresses that no longer work. If yours does, go to amrod.co.za directly and re-save the bookmark once you are in.
You need three things, not two: a username, a password, and your customer code. The customer code is the one people forget, and it produces a failure that reads like a wrong password.
When it will not let you in
There are only a few real causes, and they need different responses.

The password reset that breaks a website
This is worth knowing whether or not you have a website today.
If any system connects to your Amrod account, it almost certainly uses the same username and password a person uses to log in. Reset that password and the connection stops. It does not announce itself. A website carries on showing whatever prices and stock it last pulled, and everything looks normal.
You find out later, in the worst way: a customer orders something that went out of stock last week, or you quote at a price that has since changed.
If you have a site connected to Amrod, do two things. Ask Amrod for a separate user for that connection, so a routine password change cannot touch it. And make sure whoever runs the site is alerted when the connection fails, rather than nobody being told at all.
What the login gives you, and what it does not
Signed in, you see the catalogue, your own prices, and stock. Your prices are yours: Amrod places resellers on a loyalty ladder and your position on it sets what you pay, so the figures you see are not the figures another reseller sees. How Amrod pricing tiers work explains it.
What you do not get is a shop of your own. The trade site is where you buy. Your customers cannot use it, and it is not a place to send them.
The free storefront, and where it stops
Amrod does offer resellers a free storefront on its own promoafrica.com, at an address like promoafrica.com/yourcompany. If you have one, it shows the range under your name.
It is a catalogue to look at. Checked in September 2026, a reseller storefront there carries no prices, no cart, no quote request and no customer login. It also sits on Amrod's domain, so the visits and the search results belong to that domain and not to yours.
For showing somebody the range, it does the job. For quoting, taking an order, or being found by a customer searching for what you sell, it does not.
Using the same account to run your own catalogue
The part that surprises people: the same account can feed your own website automatically.
Amrod publishes an API. With access granted against your account, a website can read the whole catalogue, your prices and live stock, and keep itself current without anyone retyping anything. In practice that means:
- Every product and every size and colour combination, on your own domain
- Your cost, with your markup on top, set by rule for each category or brand
- Stock read fresh, so you are not quoting what is no longer there
- Orders arriving as a request with the Amrod codes already against the quantities
What it does not do is order from Amrod. The API is read only, with no order endpoint, so somebody on your side still places the order. Anyone who tells you otherwise has not read the documentation.

What is the Amrod login address?
Amrod runs its reseller site at amrod.co.za and the login sits on that site. If an old bookmark points somewhere else, go to amrod.co.za directly rather than following it, and update the bookmark once you are in.
Why has my Amrod login stopped working?
The three usual causes are a password reset somebody else did, a changed customer code, or an account deactivated for inactivity. Amrod deactivates accounts left idle for twelve months.
Can I have more than one Amrod login?
Ask Amrod. It is worth asking for a separate user for any system that connects to your account, so that a routine password change does not switch it off.
Does logging in put my products on my website?
Not on its own. Your account is what a website reads through Amrod API access, which is granted separately. Once that is in place, the catalogue and your prices load automatically.
